About a week ago, a beautiful snail came into the entryway. jason immediately adopted her, put her in a bowl with lettuce and cucumbers, covered it with a colander and named her Ann Rushout after the snail in Rumer Godden's Impunity Jane. We got her a habitat which we are fixing up. She is a common garden snail. She adores cucumbers. She's crawling on my leg while I type this.
