It was the first time I actually had a surprise birthday party, which was thrilling and scary at the same time. Seriously, I mean, who would expect the popping sound akin to a gun the moment you open the door to your house? Hehehe.

It was also the first time I ruined my own birthday cake. If your cake is frozen, don't put it in a microwave. Fortunately, there is no evidence of the destruction whatsoever.
