Where I work, we have kind of a nature preserve behind us. I don't know what is considered "preserved" as they're constantly clearing out land to make way for new buildings.
We've got a few aligators, snakes, Moor hens, and some really, really ugly birds that swim. Most of the birds around here are crows, blackbirds, and assorted not-so-pretty ones. We have something that looks piperish to me, but I don't know what they are. What I do know is you can get within a foot of them before they even think about taking off, so I decided to take a few shots. I got one of the ugly bird too...

[update] Ah, there they are! Well, here's my little angel Georgia. This is one from my first week with the D2H. There's nothing more exciting than having controllable depth of field and a cute little girl with a mouthful of water.
Rest assured you will see a lot more of Georgia. She's my primary source of photos. I run my own site with her photos on it, so I'm simply testing here to see if this is a more economical method of displaying them.
