Just came back from a trip to New York city. The united nation meeting and the fashion week have made the big apple busier than ever. The weather was humid and hot for the first two days and cooled off over the weekend. Although the conference was very good this time, I felt tired and chaotic and a little weary about the city unlike before. However, New York is New York, there are reasons why people stay and endure the hefty living costs. I changed my minds in the following few days... The energy, the street corners, the river, the people and the passion.....
Met with some old friends and went on a shopping spree. Downtown, midtown and uptown, different flavors but very much NYC, a city many people realized their dreams and many more still dreaming... I especially love the Cloister we visited this morning. I was amazed by the beautiful scenery and the piece of oasis in the crazy metropolitan. Surely, the city has a lot to offer, whatever your preferences. One of the best kept secrets in town, it is located on 190st. in upper manhatten. A scroll in the park and the cloister refreshes all your senses. Then we had brunch in a the best city brunch neighborhood Joint.
