Olympus OM-10 Revisited
Automatic Focusing and other superb gadgets on today's SLR's do make lives easier. Photojournalists cannot live without them, and wildlife photographers breathe with every shot taken using them.

But sometimes we take technology for granted. And we forget the basics...the bare essentials.

So this was a refresher course for me on camera appreciation...though the camera works on Aperture-Priority, you still have to load the film-leader manually, pull the film-advance lever after every shot, dabble with focusing ring and aperture...and last but not least, manually wind the film when the roll is finished. Best of all, it is my first camera ever, handed down by my father.

Pics were taken on Gold 200 using Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Suffice to say, I need to take this baby out more often and leave the gizmos at home...
