this semester is just crazy, that's why it has been a while since i last updated the page! on top of classes and thesis, i am also helping to organize a field trip to Death Valley and Owens Valley for Spring Break. indeed, we are leaving in a few hours

busy. busy, busy. but i am excited to spend the next seven days having fun in the desert. i haven't play around with my camera for a while, so this trip would be a great photography experience.
talking about photography experience, these are some pictures from Paris, one of my winter backpacking stops last Dec/Jan. Paris was my first stop actually. Never travel during crazy Christmas period (unless you are going somewhere to celebrate Christmas!). I was delayed for two frustating days at Boston, so my friends - who were already in Paris and were supposed to leave for Italy together with me - left without me. I asked them too. No point of them waiting (we caught up in Rome instead).
talk about a bad start. the louvre was closed when i was there, so all i got was picture of the pyramid. ah, it was so unfortunate that i came all the way without going inside THE museum. i then strolled along the famous Champs-Elysees from Place de la Concorde to Arc de Triomphe. it was quite a walk, but very pretty. one of the best thing i like about european cities is the abundant gardens that they have. and fountains. and plazas.
i don't even bother to go up the Eiffel Tower - the lines were soooooooo long!
well, see you guys in a week!!!
