Tempua's nest is among the most unique and beutiful birds' nest out there. Tempua (as called by the local) is a small bird with yellow and green color of feather. They build 3 types of nest, the biggest one with long vertical entrance for the chicks and the mother, swing-like nest for the male to swing, play and having fun (not for resting/sleeping - birds sleep ehh?) and the last one is for, hmm, for whom aa? ehm, i guess for either female or male to rest and sleep (or mating perhaps?)

Please refer to the picture for clear view. All these information i got from my dad while capturing the pic, and if my dad lied to me, then i lie to you too. hehe

you better search for the right information in the net. Otherwise..
Anyway, there is about 10-11 nests hanging on the tree in front of the house. The birds were around, I heard their chip chip sound, but couldn't see one, perhaps singing the chip chip song inside the nest (maybe laughing at me as well

).
And you (non-malaysian) should know that local people use the empty nest for decoration purpose.
