Sunshine is very rare during the winter months. So whenever the sun shows its shy face, the Swedes come out of their hibernation and worship it. Many would stand in the sun facing it for a good few minutes, and nobody feels too shy about doing this! Having lived here through my third winter, I have also picked up on this funny habit, which I laughed at in the beginning.
