Dated 2nd October, 2004; the Malam Gemilang 2004 was held at Prahran Town Hall. Hmm, yes, you got it right... the same venue as the Malaysian Nite that was held just 3 days back.
So, what is this Malam Gemilang stuff? Some of you may ask. An annual dinner that is hosted by Kelab Umno Australia Melbourne. It is sort of the climax in the club's activity calendar. As many as 110 ppl turned up to this event.
What's the big deal about this nite is that... I am involved in the performance again which is kinda cool to me Special thank to my Petronas frens and Aliza and Hassan, who I could see their tremendous support, when i was on stage
The 60's was chosen as the theme of the nite... wut was 60's like in Malaysia? Well, as for the guys, they styled their hair with huge ramos on the front, black spectacle, coat, very slim fitting long pant and the shirt colar was unfolded upright. As for the ladies, they were famous in their tight kebaya, shoulder length hair, batik and black spectacle too This was the time when the actor and actresses couple, namely P Ramlee and Saloma, were at the peak of their career~
