Timothy wanted 2 double cheeseburgers from McDonald's, so that's what he got. His friend came over about half way through the first one and stood outside the front door, waiting for Timothy to finish eating. Timothy kept saying he was done - I kept telling him to sit down and eat. Finally, he shoves the last bite into his mouth and bolts out the door.
When it was time to come in, Timothy's friend says to me, "I have to tell you something."
"What, Sam?" I say impatiently.
"Before Timothy came out, he threw his cheeseburger behind the TV."
I turn to Timothy: "Is that true?"
Timothy actually admitted it!
I made him get it...and eat it. And I told him if he ever did it again, he would have to eat it again...no matter how long it took to find it. And if it was more than a couple of weeks, it would probably kill him, but he was still going to eat it.
Of course I couldn't keep a straight face, and burst out laughing while Timothy was gagging on his dusty cheeseburger.
