Ok, this entry is not about Suria KLCC, and it's not about my friend, Suria (if u happen to read this congrats on your newborn k! ). But it's about the Malaysian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi. They sell a variety of Malaysian cuisine.
The expansive outlook gives a great feeling of space to this relatively small restaurant. The decor is modern and cool in shades of red, white and black with clear, bright lighting recessed into the white ceilings. A large mirror, modern drawings and pot plants complete the scene. We headed straight for a table near the mirror from where we could see two "mat salleh" were having their tom yam.
The ambience is nice, with Sharifah Aini's song...sukeee...it's been a long time since I heard the classic Malaysian song...but in terms of food and price alone there are better places to go or maybe for me, baik masak sendiri.... But for people who would not mind paying RM40 for one plate of "nasi lemak", it's a good place for you to dine.
