The National Museum tells history of Denmark from 13,000 BC up to today. It is Denmark’s largest museum of cultural history. Its permanent collection is divided into several sections:Prehistoric Denmark, The Middle Age & Renaissance, 1600-2000, The People of the Earth, Ethnographic treasuries, collection of Coins & Antiques, Toy Section and the Children's Museum.
