1. SDE Worker's Day (31st May 2008)
For the first time, i think it was well organized by the committee. Next year we do better!!Congratulation everyone!!!
Many games were arranged that day. We have karaoke competition, explorace (explore yard huahaha), bowling kelapa, music chair, sepak raga bualatan, gubahan bunga..etc. Overall mmg happening bila dah tua2 nak main sukan rakyat kan..
Eden pun x ketinggalan, wakil department utk pertandingan menggubah bunga!! Hahahah klakau jer bunyi. Selalu beli bunga, pas tu suh org kedai tu yg gubahkan..but I love flowers....
Tp mmg dah jangka dah.... menang la plk!! Hehe..riak sikit okeh. the day before tu, bersungguh2 nih pegi beli accessories apa2 yg patut. Sebab barang2 yg organizer bagi cuma pasu, 3 kuntum bunga putih & hijau & span. Berbaloi kan??!!
p/s: Sesapa yg nak menempah, boleh ye..tempahan dibuka sekarang hahaha...cam hampeh.



2. Amir vs Hydrocele vs Surgery at Puteri Specialist, JB (15th June 2008)
Dugaan yg amat hebat. Amir disahkan oleh Dr. Lee (his paed), mengalami Hydrocele & amir kena operate!!! Menggeletar seluruh badan! Tp lepas Dr. explain in detail, ia x bahaya, & cuma minor operation jer, lega sikit hati...Imagine baru 2 thn dah kena operate kan? Lepas temankan amir ke bilik bedah, once dia tidur, I've to wait outside. Air mata jgn cakap la..x sampai 1/2 jam, selesai surgery. Bila dia dah sedar, dengar dia menangis, menjerit. Mesti carik emaknye...
Pas tu Dr. sorong dia kuar, he hugged me very tight & kissed me few times. That has melt the whole me....what an unforgetable experience!

"What is a hydrocele by the way?
A hydrocele is a collection of watery fluid around the testicle. This is a common problem in newborn males and usually goes away within the first year of life. When the testicle drops into the scrotum (about the eighth month of pregnancy), a sac (the processus vaginalis) from the abdominal cavity travels along with the testicle. Fluid can then flow to the scrotum to surround the testicle. This sac usually closes and the fluid is absorbed. When the sac closes and the fluid remains, this is called a noncommunicating hydrocele. This means that the scrotal sac can be compressed and the fluid will not flow back into the abdomen. This type of hydrocele is often found in newborns and the fluid will usually be absorbed with time. If the scrotal sac is compressed and the fluid slowly goes back up into the abdomen or if the hydrocele changes size, this is called a communicating hydrocele. This type of hydrocele usually appears smaller in the morning when the child wakes up and larger in the evening after activity. A communicating hydrocele shows that the sac or processus vaginalis is still open.

the processus vaginalis and tunica vaginalis are obliterated and contain no fluid.
Pic 2: Noncommunicating hydrocele:
the processus vaginalis is obliterated so no fluid can move between the abdomen and the scrotum, but the tunica vaginalis contains fluid.
Pic 3: Communicating hydrocele:
the processus vaginalis is still open, allowing fluid to move between the abdomen and the tunica vaginalis in the scrotum.

When is surgery recommended for hydroceles?
Surgery is recommended if the hydrocele is still present after 12 - 18 months of age. Hydroceles that continue to get larger are symptomatic and should be fixed. "....info from internet
