Morning of May 15, we were discharged.

Waited for hubby, as he had to go to work that morning (unfortunately, his 3 days leave had expired the day before), and he arrived around 11.30am. Settled our bill and got the nurses to prepare Aina.



Hubby recorded most of the journey home, which he will burn into CD -- for record purposes, he says

Breastfeeding Aina
... is impossible

I have tried every trick in the book, but my supply is sooo limited. Aina just refuses to work hard, so she gives up after a few tries, then screams until we get her formula. I'm left with tiny wet patches on my t-shirt as the milk comes quite slow.

I tried pumping, but too little, so I can't even get an ounce

I am at wits end now, but still hoping that I will be able to eventually get enough to feed her.

D!ana ~ alhamdulillah... even tho aina takde patience nak suckle, i terpaksa pump to make sure ada supply biarpun sikiiiitt sgt. skrg ni dpt la jugak 15ml - 20ml each time Ain ~ tu la.. sampai jugak akhirnya mama dia dah tak larat nak bawak perut merata dah... pasal breastfeeding ni, dah urut dah, pangkal dada as well as dekat belikat area but still flow is not so good. and bcoz aina ada problem suckling, each time kena try to pump. so far ok la, walaupun tak bole fully breastfeed, dpt la bagi aina 3 - 4 times about 20ml each time. mmg kena supplement, but hopefully dlm seminggu lagi ni, improve la.... jeff ~ babah dia pun suka sgt kacau aina ni, tapi we are biased -- her parents!!! mesti la kata dia cute MaDiHa ~ insyaAllah kak, akan diusahakan jugak sampai berjaya....
