panik di cherating


Cherating, 3 May 2008. 6.30 am. Aina demam panas & sawan tarik*. Panik. Tak boleh pikir. Takut. Semua. Kalau korang yg pernah experience benda ni, mesti boleh paham perasaan kami laki bini. Cherating ke Kemaman Hospital ambil masa 30minit. Imagine lah. Nak bawak Aina rasa pasir pantai, lain pulak jadinya..

Dpt discharge pkl 12pm dr Kemaman Hospital, terus blah ke KL. Direct terus. Kebetulan wife Adi pun dah masuk wad bersalin, so gerak sama. Alhamdulilllah lepas 3 hari kat Tawakal, Aina dah boleh balik rumah walaupun tak 100% sihat.


* SAWAN tarik atau sawan demam (febrile fit) kerap berlaku pada kanak-kanak berusia antara enam bulan dengan enam tahun.

Ia boleh berlaku jika kanak-kanak mengalami demam panas melebihi 38.5 darjah Celsius yang memuncak secara mendadak.
Dipercayai demam sawan berlaku kerana pembentukan otak kanak-kanak yang belum lagi matang.
Demam panas yang tinggi boleh mencetuskan isyarat elektrik dalam litaran otak yang menyebabkan berlakunya sawan.
Demam itu sendiri selalunya berpunca daripada jangkitan kuman virus seperti demam flu, demam yang beruam dan kadangkala ekoran jangkitan air kencing.
Pada amnya, jangkitan ini adalah ringan dan tidak berpunca daripada jangkitan selaput otak (meningitis).
Sawan tarik bukan penyakit keturunan. Namun kanak-kanak yang mengalami sawan tarik ada di antara mereka yang mempunyai anggota keluarga yang mengalami sawan tarik juga.
