kebakaran pasar turi: Pasar Turi pernah mengalami kebakaran pada tahun 1950 dan 1978, dan kemudian mengalami renovasi besar-besaran. Pada tanggal 27 Juli 2007, Pasar Turi mengalami kebakaran hebat hingga baru bisa dipadamkan 3 hari kemudian.
