Officially a step closer to becoming Mrs. Bita!

Bita's parents and uncle came to our house on the 15th for merisik. I was pretty nervous knowing how accident prone i can be in serving food and drinks  . Bita used the back door to enter and waited in the tv room while the adults got to know each other over lunch. Then came to the big Q; the date for our engagement and wedding... Since my sister Nani is in KL and leaving for US on 5th April, our parents decided to have the engagement on the 29th. I got freaked out with only 2 weeks to prepare for the engagement. Mom kept cool and convinced me that it's possible. After a lot of effort and stress (hehe), the engagement came through.. And i have to admit eventho' in a short timeframe, both Bita and I had fun looking for items to include in our hantaran and especially going ring hunting...  On the day itself, mom had all her friends from the office to help out.. (thank u very much Aunty Saadah, Aunty Faridah and Aunty Joy! and of course Aunty Norma!) Found out from the caterers that about 250 ppl came for the engagement when in reality we only catered for about 150ppl!  But alhamdullillah, we managed to pull through and true enuff, no leftovers were left behind... (the key was to have the food served instead of buffet style.. heheh) Hired Bita's friend Ewok and Haziq (Pixelart photography) to take pictures and videographer from Mom's ofc to capture the moment. Bita came together with his entourage and looking good as ever... Somehow, till this moment, I still can't believe that I'm actually a step closer to becoming his wife.. Thanks Mom, Dad, Kak Pah, Mak Long, Pixelart and videographer, Pak Long, Pak Teh, Mak Long Rodiah and Uncle Hamidun, Aunty Leila, Aunty Norma, Aunty Yan, and everyone who helped out for the engagement..
