I guess word has gone out that I'd bought over a cafe... Eema's working there full time (I am at the shop after work hours and on weekends) and you can pretty much say neither of us has a life now!
The acquisition of Hoxes Cafe from it's previous owner took effect on the 1st of Feb... and our first task was to learn how to shop! Eema and I (with Baba tagging along) woke up early to follow Adi (the previous owner of the cafe) who showed us what they usually get fresh from Tesco on a daily basis, as well as to stock up for us to start operations since the cafe has been closed for a while now.
Shopping was fun but the huge number of people doing their shopping for Chinese New Year gave us a headache, trying to maneuver our shopping cart around. Oh and I think everyone was amused at how excited we were shopping for vegies and groceries... siap tangkap gambar smue... mesti diorang ingat kami ni first time masuk Tesco, B-)
