Did ya miss me? Probably not. I haven't posted in two months! Like a self-imposed hiatus, I suppose. Fotopages has been really slow for me lately, so I've been looking at some of my photo-friend's pages, but not bothering to post myself...
I finally developed a few of the floral photos from earlier this spring. I purchased a close-up set of filters for my Nikon, and several of these are from that initial trial. Overall, I like the color of these.
You see a lot more up close. The first couple, for example, are of a weed I would normally cut down without a second thought, but up-close, they look much better.
I still cut it down after I took the picture.
We are soon heading out west for a week or so. Lots of pictures will be taken.
After I post these "clean" photos, I may find some time today to play with them in photoshop with some of the filters my new photo-pal Ally turned me on to. You can see some cool digital filter work on Ally's page (http://awwy.fotopages.com), though some of my favorites have been taken down from there.
