Mukalla - It lies at the coast of Arabian Sea abaout 777km from the capital Sana'a. It is the capital of the Governorate of Hadramout and one of the Yemeni seaports on the Arabian Sea. Mukalla also has been of great importance for many centuries, with its trade extending to India and Southeast Asia as the many Indian influences in its architecture show. The town is roughly divided into two areas, the old town around the coastline -white house and the new town to the east.
