I was in Kl on 22-24 to attend a seminar on occupational health. On the second night in KL I took the monorail and then walk to KLCC to meet P5 not knowing that the launching of Kuala Lumpur International Batik would be on the same night. I just followed P5 who was invited to the VIP seating and took this opportunity to shot my first national event and fashion show.

KLIB 2007 was organised by Penyayang, a group who love and promote batik initiated by the late Datin Seri Endon. Petronas, ASTRO, STAR and Berjaya were among the many sponsors.

That night they had speeches, fashion show, firework display and later VVIP TT at MPC on level 42 Petronas Tower.

You have to bring your invitation to be in here. As for us, we were initially mistaken to be from the media and were taken to the reporters bay. We were later invited to take our seats at the VIP seating.
