So we did a joint birthday party with Agnes, my sister in law whose birthday is July 30th. To my very pleasant surprise, my mother came with my cousin Benjamin, who I hadn't seen in 2 years! He grew up.. its weird how time flies. Last time I saw him, he was a little squirt with a squealy voice. Now he's a man, he's taller than I am, and he las long hair and a VOICE!!

So this is step 2 for my mama and I: meet the "other" side of the family. It went very well. We laughed, took pictures, drank aperitif, and I pretty much had a smile stuck on my face the whole evening.
