We were out and about checking one of our geocaches when we came across this critter. He/she was digging away in the local creek getting something to eat. Reminded me a bit of Fess Parker as Davy Crocket (Had some of Parker's wine - not bad) Now, all I have is a 3x zoom on my camera so, it meant I had to get a closer than I wanted. But he/she was more interested in what was under the logs than me and, since it was smaller than a bear, I felt more confident. I kept my back door open though for the grand retreat if required.
