ABAH, JALAN TAR, AND BARBER SHOPS Today, I went to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman - Jalan TAR (Tuanku Abdul Rahman Street) for customary haircut at my favorite barber shops in whole of Malaysia, the barber shops of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
Don’t ask me why. I just love and always had my haircut there. The old colonial environment in and around Jalan TAR reminds me the good old days of Kuala Lumpur and Malaya (even though I wasn’t around during that time, but still). However, the memory when I was young with my dad long, long time ago (when we went there for our routine haircut) makes this place very special.
To abah (my dad and all fathers) Happy Father’s Day! I am sorry for being "not so good" son, caused (for the past) and causes (for the present and future) lots of problem to you, but for sure I want you to know, even though I am not really close with you, I will always love you. Thank you for everything.
