This is something that drives me crazy. Wendy and I were driving up by Carter Crescent in Saskatoon and took these pictures. They are some starter homes that were built a couple of years ago and are pretty nice but they all look exactly the same or have only minor variations. I would kind of like to live in one when I see them but I don't think I want to live on a street where everyone of my neighbors homes looks just like mine.
That being said, the row houses that Jeb (http://www.jebrunquist.com), Todd, and I walked by every day while we were down at Soularize (http://www.soularize.org) were almost identical in every way shape and form so who knows. My personal opinion is that it works in better in a more urban enviroment then on the western edge of Saskatoon and it needs some commercial enemities nearby like a market or something.
I like the idea but something just seemed to go wrong for me in implementation.
