Portugal claimed a 2-0 win over Brazil in their international friendly at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was an interested spectator at a packed Emirates and he saw Blues defender Ricardo Carvalho add to an earlier goal from Simao Sabrosa as Portugal bagged a fine win. The contest was full of attacking endeavour throughout and Brazil defender Lucio hit the bar shortly before the interval. Portugal took advantage of the stroke of fortune as Simao latched onto a fine cross from Ricardo Quaresma to ram his side in front on 82 minutes. Ricardo Carvalho sealed the win when turning home a cross in the last minute to hand Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari victory over his home nation.
