One of the particularly memorable elements of the New Year's Eve Party was the Shot Luge. Essentially a big block of ice with a groove cut into it. Various spirits were poured down the luge into eagerly awaiting mouths. Most successful were the Cranberry Vodka and the Jagermeister.
