We started our journey around 10am. We reached the Giza pyramid around 11:30am. There were not many tourists around. We should consider ourselves lucky because of that. Else I guess it will be very hard for us to take pictures etc. The weather wasn’t that hot. It must be the Egypt winter season. I got 50% discount using my student card, while Bi paid 50L.E. Before we can go to the pyramid Khufu (Cheopen) area, we had to pass through a strict security check-up. There were a number of armed polices at the entrance and around the pyramid area. In addition, there were also many Pak Arab self-volunteered to assist you and to cheer you up everywhere you go. Whatever the kind of services they tried to offer, we just say 'lah' mean no. Once you let them talking to you or telling you about something (although you never ask), they will expect you to give tips. Anywhere, that's part of the travelling experience around Cairo Egypt.
