27-28 November 2006, we were in Beppu. Contrary to our earlier perceptions, Beppu is an amazing place with a lot of things to see and do especially during autumn (while we were there ). Onsen, African Safari, Shidaka Lake, the beaches, jigokus, apple picking, mountain hiking and of course the hill top APU to name a few . The views are magnificent, with mountains in the back and the sea in the foreground. Our Malaysian community in Beppu is well organized under the leadership of Pokya with monthly getherings and other family activities. My hosts, Azhar and Hasira were great, layanan yang sungguh baik dan kami sangat berterima kasih. The finale was the ferry ride from Beppu to Osaka. We were set sailed by most of the Beppu Malaysian residents and we thank 'em all.
