It was an enjoyable time to be in this retreat, organized by Northern Institute for Cancer Research (NICR) which is one of the well known cancer research institute in the UK. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to be one of the international PhD student in this institute. Well done to the Cancer Research UK, the biggest charity organization which is supporting the research for giving the benefits to the cancer patients.
I was so impressed with cancer research development in the UK particularly in drug development. However, fundamental study basically in molecular genetics is still important for further understanding of genetic mechanisms involved in cancer patients.
It was an interactive seminar and I had a chance to 'publicize' my research as well as myself as Malaysian student. Alhamdulillah, I had presented my talk well :surprised:
