from bhaktapur, we headed off for lunch and then to patan, a section of kathmandu located in the south end. patan also has a durbar square and by this time, we were bored looking at the same old things -- newari temples, garudas, statues, etc -- so we didn't spend that much time there. to pass the time, i watched kids playing this game where they 'timbang' a ball of rubber band with their feet. seems to be a popular game with kids everywhere in nepal and girls are not excluded.
