Did you ever see a compass?
The physics class has ended and now I officially begin my REAL 3 week long summer vacation where I actually have NO classes. I thought it would be nice to commemorate my crazy Russian teacher with some of his best quotes that I never hesitated to jot down in class:

"When you turn on the lightswitch, what happens? Little animals run around in the wire. What makes them run around? It's the electric force."
"Did you ever see a compass? It used to be you neeed it to go into the forest. Now you can use a GPS device."
"The oil refining process is very simple. You can do it at home in your laboratory* if you like."
"Water is such a beautiful substance, actually."
"You know, the sun has a very high temperature."
"Latent heat is something sleeping inside an object, waiting to be released when you heat it."
"CH3OH can paralyze your nervous system. It's very sad."
"Oh, if wires are on the ground, please stay away from that place! You should call the police immediately."
"Everyone is familiar with electrons. They are our best friends!"
"You never played, in your childhood, with a small atomic bomb?"

I'm going to Miami for two weeks so I won't be posting while I'm gone. Have a great day!!!
