Merentas selat

Naik bot.
Merentas air Selat Melaka.
Ke tanjung,
Pantai Merdeka.
Jejaka berpegangan tangan.
Gedik!!
Takut kejatuhan membenam muka ke laut.
Amoi muda berpipi gebu.
Tersenyum riang menguak air.
Juga yang lain.
Riang gembira naik bot.
