spots, dots, or whatever, predatory instincts, and the peacock

Okay, malas gila nak tulis entry baru, so i'm pasting this entry i wrote over at blogspot and livejournal. So kalau dah baca, mintak mahap la ye kawan kawan. Hahaha.
It was one of those lazy evenings, I was actually waiting to pick up my mom from an appoinment she had at the hospital. So there I was in my room, bored out of my mind, I picked up my camera and started snapping photos of myself with my new hair. So reviewing my pictures on the cameras lil lcd screen, thought to myself, that it looks rather plain, so I took my black pencil eyeliner and started drawing these spots, dots, or whatever all over my right cheek.
"spots, dots, or whatever" is slightly more natural shot, yeah it's weird but natural in the sense of the tones and lighting. These set of shot in front of a window by the way, which in fact you can see its reflection in my pupil.
Then there's this shot below, same makeup, but with some edits, it turned into something somewhat more unnatural, and raw. Definitely a whole different feel you get when looking at this one eh? Kinda feel animal-ish, hence the name "predatory instincts".
Moving on to the final piece of this entry "the peacock", is more of a photomanipulation. Where it was heavily edited. I smoothed out my skin, added some color to my iris. To get that peacocky effect, added some tones to the area where I drew em spots n dots,
as well as a tinge of color on the lips. Did some adjustments to my nose to make it sharp, and slightly enlarged my eyes.

So uhmm, this is what I normally do when i'm at home, play around with makeup, and take shitloads of self-portraits. I need to get out more often, and shoot other people, and mess around with their faces. Mwahahahaha. Any volunteers?
