Damai Laut - Golf n Deer Surprise
I was fortunate to get a room at Damai Laut during the Festive and Holiday seasons. We got a Studio Apartment at Damai Laut through the Last Minutes Booking services on the Internet. Very cosy and comfortable during our stay there.

The place was full of holiday makers from all over the country and the swimming pool was packed all day long, no surprise as the weather was also hot. On the first day I went to the Clubhouse to view the golf scenery and decided to play the next day. I was allowed to play alone (hardly any golfers at that time) with my wife driving the buggy..she enjoyed it! The course was very scenic and can be considered an easy course and friendly, maybe the club wants visitors n tourist to enjoy their golf more...and talked about birdies and pars over cold drinks at the Clubhouse instead of bogeys and lost balls! On the second 9, we were joined by two local golfers from Taiping and Ipoh. We have an interesting experience when a huge deer showed up ..it was really big with full grown horn, I have no idea where it came from...maybe an escapee from nearby deer farm. After the deer incidence came the scary part...goosebumps, although I didn't hear it but the 2 golfers and my wife heard like somebody was laughing when we tee off....from high up on the trees! My...my..ada ke?

We went out to eat at Pantai remis, Manjung and nearby foodstall just at the entrance to Damai Laut, about 3 km from the apartment. Of course you can choose to eat at the hotel..Swiss Damai Laut Resort. There was live entertainment too...but I am not a fan of hotel food, prefer the tomyam..and udang goreng garam kunyit, best....

Enjoy the photos.
